Two or more insiders buying the same stock. How it works.
The Insider Cluster scanner identifies stocks where two or more corporate insiders have filed Form 4 buy transactions within a short window. While a single insider buy is a meaningful signal, cluster buying — multiple insiders purchasing simultaneously — is considerably more significant. It suggests that several people with direct knowledge of the company's situation are all independently reaching the same bullish conclusion at the same time.
The heat level summarizes the intensity of the cluster. COLD means 2 insiders are buying — already a notable signal. WARM means 3 insiders, and HOT means 4 or more — an exceptional level of internal conviction that is rare and historically associated with strong forward performance. The total value shows the combined dollar amount of all insider purchases in the cluster.
Use the filters to focus on the most intense clusters. The 3+ and 4+ filters surface only the highest-conviction situations. A cluster of 4+ insiders buying significant dollar amounts is one of the most reliable signals of institutional insider knowledge available to retail traders.
