The Options Activity scanner tracks the most active names in the options market each day, ranked by total options volume. For each name it shows the call/put volume split, the put/call ratio, the IV rank, and an overall bullish/bearish read — a fast snapshot of where options traders are concentrating their activity.
Open Options Activity Scanner → Full GuideThe names with the heaviest options volume are where traders are most actively positioning. By looking at how that volume splits between calls and puts, you get a read on directional bias — heavy call volume points to bullish positioning, heavy put volume to bearish or hedging activity.
The scanner ranks the most active names by total options volume and, for each, shows the call/put split, the put/call ratio, and the IV rank. A put/call ratio below 0.7 reads bullish, above 1.2 bearish, and in between neutral.
A name near the top of the list with a low put/call ratio and a high call percentage is showing concentrated bullish positioning — often ahead of earnings or a catalyst. A high IV rank on the same name means the market is also pricing in larger expected moves.
Always cross-reference options activity with the technical setup. A bullish read on a stock in a proper base or pullback is far more actionable than the same read on an extended, overheated chart. The options data tells you the what; the chart tells you the when.
